Family Eye Care Associates has been serving the Central Georgia area for 30 years, and we've made it our goal to provide this community with all the services they need in one location.  We have a full time practice in Milledgeville and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for our patients.  Both our ophthalmologists and our optometrists offer comprehensive eye exams as well as acute care. Our physicians have over 70 years of combined clinical experience, and offer access to specialists who travel to our office.

We offer full optical services, and with the addition of our on-site lab, we can offer the best of new lens technology at competitive pricing.  We are unique in that we carry a very wide range of frames (both prescription and suns); we have frames for $30.00 as well as all the hot designer and sports frames and suns.  Come see our gallery remodel to start off 2012!

Our physicians diagnose, manage and assist in the treatment of glaucoma, diabetes with ocular complications, macular degeneration, and cataracts.  We offer pre-operative evaluations, surgical care and post-operative care for cataracts, retinal procedures, LASIK/LASEK, and various laser therapies.  We have state-of-the-art diagnostics such as Ocular Fundus Photography which we use to monitor and diagnose macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases. Our patients with glaucoma and macular degeneration are monitored through Optical Coherence Tomography, a cutting edge, non-contact imaging technology that provides high-resolution, cross-sectional views of the retina at much higher resolution than other imaging modalities such as MRI or ultrasound.
